The assignment covers the early part of the school year, running from August 29th through November 6th.

Key Qualifications:

• Special Education experience in a school setting; elementary level experience highly valued
• Current New Jersey Special Education license (preferred)
• Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices
• Ability to work well with a multi-disciplinary team

In this role, youll:

• Provide targeted instruction and support for 1st grade students in an in-class resource room
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, paras, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and IEP documentation
• Foster a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom community
