Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience in developing and adapting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Flexibility to adjust teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Knowledge of current best practices in special education
• Ability to maintain accurate student records and document progress

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans tailored to each students IEP
• Conduct assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation and reports
• Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques to meet individual needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and colleagues
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team decisions
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
