Multiple positions are available working with students from kindergarten through high school, with carefully managed caseloads and varying levels of classroom support at each site. Each teacher will be assigned to one classroom in a supportive school, ensuring a balanced workload and a focused teaching environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Oregon Special Education Teacher License required
  • Experience working with students in special education settings preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and positive attitude in dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction to elementary, middle, or high school students, depending on assignment
  • Maintain and update IEPs, track student progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster inclusive learning environments that encourage participation and growth
  • Utilize instructional assistants when provided to support classroom activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school teams to support student success
  • Establish a positive, structured classroom culture
