This full-time, contract opportunity allows you to make a difference each day, working closely with a dedicated K-1 split instructional class. You'll serve as a self-contained teacher, creating a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures growth and learning for all students.

In this role, you'll work at a single school, following a consistent schedule from 8:20 am to 3:05 pm, allowing for a predictable routine and meaningful connections with your students.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid LBS1 license is required
• Experience teaching in a primary or elementary special education setting
• Ability to develop and implement individualized instruction plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage a K-1 self-contained special education classroom
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned with student IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Promote a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment
