Job Description

A full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-26 school year in the Denver area, with opportunities at several schools including Coronado Hills Elementary, Cherry Drive, Woodlen, and Thunder Vista P-8. These roles require an Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement and an active Colorado Department of Education certification. Teachers will provide specialized instruction and support to young learners in co-teaching or itinerant settings, fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments for children aged 0-8.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized education programs tailored to early childhood students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers in co-teaching classrooms.
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and track student progress.
  • Provide itinerant services by supporting multiple schools within the district.
  • Maintain compliance with state and district special education guidelines.
  • Engage with parents, staff, and stakeholders to support student development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Colorado DOE certification with Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement.
  • Experience ranges welcomed from entry-level (0-2 years) to more seasoned educators (10+ years).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs.

Location: Denver metropolitan area, Colorado
Schedule: Full-time (35+ hours per week)
