Job Description

This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students from elementary through middle school as a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 setting located in Temple, TX. The role requires dedication to meeting each childs unique learning needs and contributing to their academic and social development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored instruction and interventions to elementary and middle school students with special educational needs
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitoring student progress
  • Maintaining records and complying with state and federal regulations related to special education

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas state teaching license in Special Education (EC-12 special education and EC-6 Core or 4-8 Generalist)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in special education teaching
  • Strong understanding of best practices in differentiated instruction and accommodations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Additional details:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Contract duration: ASAP through the end of the school year
  • Location: Temple, TX
