Multiple full-time contract Special Education teaching opportunities are available within well-respected school sites throughout the Phoenix and Glendale areas for the 20262027 academic year. These roles play a vital part in delivering individualized instruction and behavioral support to students across a range of grade levels and classroom settings.
Openings include self-contained classrooms with a focus on emotional disabilities, cross-category academic programs, elementary resource support positions, and a preschool classroom for children with autism. Assignments are based on locations and grade levels, and align with your experience and preferences.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Special Education teaching certification for Arizona
Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Experience or strong interest in SPED settings (ED, cross-category, resource, or autism-specific)
Knowledge of IEP processes and accommodations
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to various classroom needs and student abilities
Updated resume reflecting relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver differentiated, student-centered instruction and behavioral strategies
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide direct academic, emotional, and/or functional skills instruction according to assignment
Collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and families
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Maintain accurate records and data collection as required
Participate in ongoing professional development
