Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience with both resource and self-contained classroom models
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching styles for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students with varying abilities in resource and self-contained classes
• Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and specialists
• Adapt lessons to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Work with colleagues to ensure the academic, social, and emotional success of all students
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal policies
• Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
