A Full Semester contract opportunity is available for a Virtual Special Education Teacher serving K-12 students in Virginia. This role is designed for a professional skilled in delivering specialized instruction via telehealth platforms to support students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing instruction, accommodations, modifications, and support tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) within a virtual environment
• Collaborating with school staff and families to develop and implement effective strategies that promote student growth
• Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress remotely
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and communication related to student educational outcomes

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification applicable to K-12 education
• Proven experience in delivering special education services, preferably through telehealth or virtual formats
• Strong knowledge of individualized education planning, instruction methods, and assistive technology utilization
• Excellent communication skills suited to working remotely with students, parents, and educational teams
• Ability to manage time effectively in a remote, contract-based setting

Location: This position supports students attending public schools throughout Virginia, with work performed remotely.
