A remote position is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth services, focusing on homebound instruction. This role requires providing specialized education to students remotely, dedicating 5 hours per week to support individual learning needs.
Location: Remote (licensed in Illinois preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored special education lessons through telehealth platforms
- Provide homebound instruction to students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning goals
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching License
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
