A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher providing telehealth services in a K-12 school setting. This role is focused on delivering specialized instruction to students in a homebound capacity, offering support through virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored special education instruction via telehealth to K-12 students unable to attend school in person.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and educational standards.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with school staff and families to ensure comprehensive support and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of lessons, student participation, and progress reports.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification in Special Education teaching.
• Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in homebound or remote educational settings.
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual instruction methods.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to engage students in a remote learning environment effectively.

Location:

• Services will be provided remotely, supporting students in Virginia with a focus on the Heathsville area.

Work Schedule:

• Approximately 6 hours per week.
