Remote Intervention Specialist Ohio Schools
Location: Fully Remote
VocoVision is seeking a licensed Intervention Specialist to provide virtual instruction and special education support to students in Ohio schools. This fully remote opportunity offers the flexibility to work from home while supporting students academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide virtual specialized instruction and individualized support to students with disabilities.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Manage student caseloads and track progress toward IEP goals.
Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
Utilize district-approved virtual platforms and IEP systems for instruction and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license appropriate for the assignment.
Previous school-based special education experience.
Experience developing, implementing, and managing IEPs.
Previous remote/virtual teaching experience required.
Strong communication, organization, classroom management, and technology skills.
Comfortable collaborating with school teams in a fully virtual environment.
