Virtual Special Education Teacher Ohio

Location: Fully Remote

VocoVision is hiring a passionate Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and educational support to students throughout Ohio. If you're looking for the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact in students' lives, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging virtual instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with school teams and families.
  • Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet students' individual learning needs.
  • Partner with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to support student success.
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Utilize district-approved virtual learning platforms and special education documentation systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Active Ohio Special Education teaching license.
  • Previous school-based experience required.
  • Previous remote/virtual teaching experience required.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and technology skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage students in a virtual learning environment.
