Virtual Intervention Specialist (20 hrs/week 1099 Contract)

Partnering with VocoVision

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Intervention Specialist to support a caseload of 16 students through remote instruction. This is a 20-hour per week, 1099 contract position, ideal for someone who is highly organized, student-centered, and confident delivering targeted academic interventions in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and small-group intervention services to assigned students.

  • Develop and implement evidence-based instructional plans and progress monitoring.

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support student success.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting.

  • Utilize VocoVisions virtual platform and tools for high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Valid state teaching license relevant to intervention services (Special Education, Intervention Specialist, or equivalent).

  • Experience providing academic interventions (virtual experience preferred).

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working remotely.

  • Must operate as an independent contractor (1099).

  • Professional liability insurance is required.

  • Reliable technology and workspace for virtual sessions.

Schedule:

  • Approximately 20 hours per week

  • Flexible within school needs

  • Serving 16 students
