Fully Remote Special Education Teacher in Illinois

Responsibilities for Remote Special Education Teacher:

  • Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction remotely to align with student IEPs.
  • Coordinate and participate in IEP and special education eligibility meetings with parents and student service support staff.
  • Track, monitor, and evaluate student performance to tailor lesson plans to individual strengths and weaknesses to improve academic performance.

Caseload Details:

  • K-12 students
  • mild to moderate disabilities

Qualifications Needed:

  • Highly qualified and certified to teach special education in Illinois.
  • At least 2 years of school-based teaching experience required.
  • Must complete and pass a virtual tech screening prior to interviewing with district (virtual teaching experience preferred).
