A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available working with middle school students in grades 6-12. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction through telehealth services to support students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to students unique abilities and IEP goals
• Conduct virtual sessions during regular school hours to engage and support students effectively
• Collaborate with other educational professionals to implement specialized strategies
• Monitor student progress and update documentation in accordance with district guidelines
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with families and team members

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education teaching certification (no emergency permits accepted)
• Experience working with middle school students, grades 6-12
• Ability to commit fully during school hours without other job or conflicting obligations
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage telehealth instructional delivery
• Comfortable using technology platforms required for virtual teaching environments

Location: Canton, MI (telehealth instruction with in-person availability during school hours is required)
