Job Description

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to support elementary students through remote instruction in Idaho. This role focuses on managing an elementary caseload within a resource classroom setting, providing tailored educational support to meet diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized instruction to elementary students with exceptionalities.
  • Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum to support student success.
  • Collaborating with families and educational staff to monitor progress and adjust strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and participating in continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Idaho teaching license in Special Education.
  • Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years experience working in a school environment.
  • Ability to pass a technology screening to ensure proficiency in remote teaching tools.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday.
  • Engagement as an independent contractor (1099).
