A K-12 school in Tampa, FL is seeking 14 skilled Special Education Teachers to support exceptional student education for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for educators who hold a Florida ESE license and have a passion for fostering inclusive learning environments.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida Special Education (ESE) teaching license required
- Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs
- Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and specialized instructional strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Commitment to creating positive, supportive classroom environments
Position Details:
- Location: Tampa, FL
- Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY)
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Student age range: Kindergarten through Grade 12
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students unique abilities and goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Use data-driven methods to assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and communicate regularly with stakeholders
