Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state required
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with families, staff, and administrators
• Dedication to adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide differentiated instruction in both resource and inclusive settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure student success
• Maintain organized records of student progress, accommodations, and communication
• Utilize current technology and educational resources to enhance learning
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and goals
• Create and maintain a positive, encouraging environment where all students can thrive
