Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain/maintain)
- Experience in Resource or High School settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development/implementation and case management
Responsibilities:
- Case management for high school students with IEPs
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
- Deliver direct instruction tailored to IEP objectives
- Create and sustain a continuum of instructional services
- Keep detailed and accurate student records
- Consult in the Response to Intervention (RtI) process
- Communicate regularly with families and guardians
- Provide and implement behavior management supports/behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective accommodations and modifications
- Foster a safe and positive learning environment
- Additional duties as needed
