Looking for a rewarding opportunity to support students in a dynamic educational environment? Licensed Special Education Teachers in New Hampshire are needed for contract roles working with a range of grade levels, from kindergarten through high school, near Suncook, NH. These positions are for the remainder of the current school year, with the potential for extension into the 2026/2027 school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher certification required
- Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide tailored instruction and support to meet each students unique learning needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and related service providers
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom climate that supports student growth
- Participate in parent meetings, staff development sessions, and multi-disciplinary team conferences
