Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching credential with Special Education authorization
• Experience supporting students from Early Childhood through High School (Pre-K to 12th grade)
• Comfortable tailoring instruction for a wide range of developmental ages and grade levels
• Strong background in teaching Mathematics at various levels
• Proven ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Skilled in promoting a positive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and growth
• Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable and innovative in lesson planning and classroom management

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons in small and large group settings
• Modify curriculum and assessments according to student IEPs and learning goals
• Provide accommodations and strategies to ensure student success in Math and other core subjects
• Collaborate with grade-level and special education teams to share resources and best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and regularly report to stakeholders
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages participation and confidence
