Job Description
Step into a rewarding role as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year at a well-supported educational setting near Streamwood, IL. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with a manageable caseload of no more than eight students. You will design and implement individualized lesson plans, maintain effective classroom management, and ensure compliance with all IEP requirements. Daily staff hours are 8:00 to 3:00, allowing for a consistent routine to support your professional success.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active Special Education (SPED) teaching license is required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school environment
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation and writing
- Ability to create and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs
