Desired Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Special Education Teaching License
• Solid background in designing and implementing IEPs
• Confidence working across a K-12 caseload with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to team with staff and families
• Flexibility, creativity, and responsiveness in classroom management
• Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to students with varying disabilities
• Develop, adapt, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress, reporting to parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Engage in classroom management, behavior support, and social skill building
• Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, support staff, and administrators
• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings
