Key Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan teaching certification with special education endorsement
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small group instruction designed to support diverse learning needs and developmental goals
  • Implement effective strategies for managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals
  • Monitor, track, and communicate student progress clearly with stakeholders
  • Adapt instructional approaches and materials to best meet students unique needs
  • Maintain organized, thorough documentation while adhering to required state and federal guidelines
