Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher certification required
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction to students based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Develop and adapt lesson plans and materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitor progress, track data, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide support within a resource setting and help facilitate integration into general education classrooms as appropriate
- Advocate for students and help create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning space
