Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to support elementary and middle school students with significant cognitive, developmental, and behavioral disabilities. This onsite W-2 contract role, located in Sterling Heights, MI, provides specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of each student throughout the school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized educational programs and instructional support for students with significant disabilities
  • Implement strategies to enhance cognitive, developmental, and behavioral outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEP goals
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Special Education teaching license
