A full-time, onsite Special Education Teacher position is available in Sterling Heights, MI, serving elementary and middle school students. This W-2 contract role involves delivering specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral disabilities, ensuring they receive tailored educational opportunities to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
- Provide specialized instruction and adapt teaching methods to accommodate various disabilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and behavioral progress
- Monitor and document student performance and growth, adjusting strategies as necessary

Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education teaching license
