Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored instruction and support to learners with significant cognitive, developmental, and behavioral disabilities.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Active Special Education Teacher certification in Nevada
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment for students with a range of abilities and challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of students progress while communicating regularly with families and educational staff
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies for supporting students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral disabilities
