Desired Qualifications:

• Active Exceptional Children Teaching Certification is required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and staff
• Passion for supporting diverse learning needs and creating inclusive classrooms

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on students IEPs and learning needs
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to promote academic and social success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation for compliance
• Foster a classroom environment that is safe, caring, and conducive to learning for students with various exceptionalities
• Support students in transitioning skills and participating in the general education curriculum as appropriate
