An educational opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with expertise in intervention strategies to support students with diverse learning needs. This position involves managing a self-contained classroom catering to students with multiple disabilities, autism, and complex needs, serving an average caseload of 6-8 students. Openings are available for both elementary and high school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Use specialized instructional techniques suitable for students with multiple disabilities and autism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and parents, to monitor student progress and adjust interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavioral data.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Intervention Specialist certification is required.
• Experience working in self-contained classrooms preferred.
• Strong knowledge of teaching strategies for students with multiple disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 6-8 students effectively.

Location and Schedule:

• Position is based in Springfield, OH.
• Contract role with 35-40 hours per week.
• Assignments available for both elementary and high school grade levels.
