Shape the future for students with diverse learning needs as a Special Education Teacher in Massachusetts. Caseloads are individualized, providing exposure to a variety of teaching experiences and student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education License is required
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to adapt instruction and materials for a diverse range of learners
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school teams
- Organizational skills and flexibility to manage varying classroom settings and caseloads
- Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
What Youll Do:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with varying abilities
- Differentiate instruction to address individual goals and learning styles
- Collaborate closely with general education staff, support personnel, and families
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records to document student progress, adherence to IEP goals, and communications
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
