Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field (required)
• State licensure or certification in Special Education (in hand or eligible)
• Experience writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for interactions with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials for different learning needs
• Previous work in school settings preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities
• Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with support staff and families
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date student records and reports
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
