Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or closely related field (Masters preferred)
• Certification in special education (or eligibility to obtain)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative, flexible, and patient approach
• Ability to collaborate and adapt strategies in a team setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute individualized lesson plans based on student assessments and educational goals
• Adapt instructional materials and techniques to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress records for each student
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and resources
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions on best practices
