Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education (State licensure required)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Adaptability and creativity in modifying curriculum
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage IEPs in partnership with families and other educational professionals
  • Create structured, supportive classroom environments using positive behavior support techniques
  • Assess student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary for ongoing growth

  • Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional practices
