Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-appropriate)
• Previous experience in a school-based special education environment preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in classroom technology and adaptive learning tools
• Compassionate, patient, and skilled in fostering inclusive learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each students unique needs
• Provide direct instruction in academic, functional, and social-emotional skills
• Adapt lessons and curriculum materials to accommodate a range of learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal education regulations
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment where every student can thrive
