Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven experience developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Ability to effectively modify curriculum and instructional techniques
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Experience with adaptive technology and evidence-based educational strategies is highly beneficial

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs across various grades or classrooms
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure student progress
• Develop, document, and maintain IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor and report on student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
