Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (required)
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support based on the students IEP
• Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Work closely with the students family and multidisciplinary school teams
• Maintain an organized and supportive classroom setting
• Uphold all state and district requirements for Special Education services
