Special Education Teachers passionate about making a difference are needed for contract opportunities in Massachusetts. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education License required
- Experience teaching students in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for partnership with families, staff, and administration
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and instruction to meet individualized education programs
- Team-oriented attitude and flexibility in working across different classroom settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and assess instruction designed to meet the unique needs of each student on your caseload
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure cohesive support for students
- Monitor student progress, collecting data and adjusting strategies as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment in both self-contained and resource classroom settings

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
