What youll do:

• Deliver targeted instruction designed to meet each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Adapt and differentiate curriculum materials, ensuring accessibility for a range of learning profiles
• Establish and sustain effective behavior supports and classroom management tactics
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service professionals, and families to maximize student growth
• Consistently track student progress and maintain compliance-focused documentation
• Engage actively in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to team collaboration initiatives

Ideal experience and qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education certification, or the ability to obtain one
• Experience supporting elementary-aged learners, especially in special education settings
• Demonstrated skill in classroom management and instructional differentiation
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working across disciplines
