Job Overview:
We are hiring two Special Education Teachers in Spanaway, WA with Bethel School District 403 for the upcoming school year. These are full-time, onsite roles supporting either a middle school or high school resource classroom, working with a collaborative team focused on student success.
Spanaway offers a more relaxed, suburban feel while still being close to Tacoma. Its a great fit for educators looking for affordable living, manageable commutes, and a strong community atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Provide instruction in a resource (co-teaching) classroom setting
Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students
Support IEP development and implementation
Collaborate with general education teachers and staff
Requirements:
Active Washington State SPED License
ESA Certification required
Compensation:
Full-time guaranteed hours (37.5/week)
