Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Required state special education teaching certification/license

- Familiarity with current best practices in special education, progress monitoring, and behavioral management

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each students unique needs in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to track student progress, making instructional adjustments based on results
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports both social and academic growth
- Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing student progress and strategies for support at home
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to problem-solve and ensure compliance with special education laws
- Attend IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and professional trainings as required
- Support students in both self-contained and inclusion classroom settings
