Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
  • Experience teaching or supporting students in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) settings
  • Expertise in lesson planning and delivering differentiated instruction
  • Ability to teach and adapt math curriculum for diverse learners
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance preferred
  • Passion for working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IEPs tailored to students individual needs
  • Provide instruction and support in both general and special education settings for grades ranging from Pre-K through 12th
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, with a special focus on math skills development
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
