Desired Expertise and Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-appropriate)
  • Prior teaching experience in a special education setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum materials as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Employ a variety of teaching techniques to inspire student growth in academic, social, and behavioral skills
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians to ensure student success
  • Record and communicate student progress, adjusting plans as necessary
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment that values each students unique strengths
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with educational best practices

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
