Qualifications & Experience:

• Current teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility in Massachusetts)
• Experience working with students who have mild to moderate disabilities
• Understanding of IEP processes and progress monitoring
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt quickly and work flexibly within a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and assess individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver engaging lessons tailored to each students needs and abilities
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Utilize assistive technology and accommodations as needed
• Create a supportive, respectful classroom climate that encourages student growth
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
