In this meaningful career opportunity, youll provide critical support to 2nd and 3rd grade students with developmental delays or intellectual impairments. As a full-time special education teacher, you will spend your days on site, fostering growth and helping young learners thrive in their academic and social journeys. The position runs from 8:00AM to 2:30PM daily, with a contract extending through June 25, 2026.

Youll be joining a dedicated educational environment, implementing personalized strategies and advocating for students unique needs. This contract position begins as soon as possible, and successful candidates will work closely with students, staff, and families to make a positive, lasting impact.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license/certification in Moderate or Severe Disabilities (active status)
• Previous school-based special education teaching experience, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Willingness to undergo a thorough CORI and fingerprint background check (a letter of suitability from a prior employer for fingerprints may be accepted)
• Comfort with technology, and prepared to participate in a Zoom interview

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs for developmental delays or intellectual impairments
• Maintain all documentation in compliance with IEPs and regulatory requirements
• Adapt teaching strategies to facilitate growth academically, socially, and emotionally
• Communicate progress regularly with families and collaborate with classroom staff and related service providers
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
