Job Description

Youll work part-time, two days per week, collaborating with colleagues and families to deliver tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. Your expertise will support achievement, growth, and success for every learner in your classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license with math endorsement
  • Experience teaching students in special education settings across K-12 is preferred
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, accommodating environment for every student
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and team members

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Deliver engaging math instruction to students with varying abilities
  • Adapt curricula and teaching methods to accommodate individual learning challenges
  • Work closely with other educators, support staff, and families to ensure student growth
  • Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Support overall classroom management and positive behavior strategies

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
