Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching License
• Experience or strong interest in working with high school students
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability in supporting a diverse group of students with varying needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students IEPs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Contribute to team meetings and student planning sessions as needed
