Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Kansas teaching license for K-12 with Special Education endorsement
• Direct experience working with students in special education settings
• Flexibility and strong organizational skills to manage an itinerant schedule across multiple campuses
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families
• A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students across various sites, adapting teaching strategies to individual needs
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state guidelines
• Establish strong rapport with students, families, and school staff to ensure cohesive support
• Travel between assigned schools as scheduled, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance education plans and student outcomes
