A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available within an early childhood setting serving Pre-K students in Kansas City, KS. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting young learners with special needs in a structured school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual educational plans for Pre-K students
- Manage a caseload of 8-18 students, providing personalized support and development
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to create an inclusive learning experience
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain compliance with federal and state special education regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with early childhood populations preferred
