This onsite position spans from August 2026 through May 2027 and offers a chance to work closely with a diverse group of learners in an inclusive classroom setting. With a manageable caseload of 2025 students, youll have the support and resources to make a measurable impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education Certification (K-12)
- Texas Generalist License (K-12 or appropriate age range)
- Experience supporting students with autism and life skills needs
- Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, adaptive educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs
- Provide direct instruction, support, and adaptive strategies in inclusion settings
- Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to ensure tailored learning plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies appropriately
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom climate that encourages growth and independence
