Job Description

As an onsite educator, you will provide targeted interventions, particularly for students with dyslexia, working collaboratively with school teams and families to develop and implement individualized education plans. Your expertise will support learners across elementary, middle, and high school grades, making a meaningful difference in their educational journeys.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Special Education Certification
  • Reading by Design Certification
  • Proven experience working with K-12 students in special education and dyslexia intervention
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Ability to assess student needs and monitor progress effectively

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instruction and interventions for students with dyslexia and other learning differences
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Employ evidence-based practices, including Reading by Design, to promote reading development
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to facilitate growth
  • Work closely with general and special education staff to ensure a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
